Review of Grace & Courtesy Focal Points for Fall 2007:

Walk around people having a conversation. If needed, say, “Excuse me!”

· Stand tall with a straight back and proud shoulders when speaking.

· When speaking, use a low voice to avoid disturbing others.

· Walk slowly and use care when transporting lunches in bins.

· When delivering messages, use good eye contact, clearly state the reason for your visit, and wait patiently for a reply.

· Use actions and words that show appreciation for others.

· Use eye contact when speaking or listening to others.

· Control body parts while moving around the environment.

· Maintain a clean and organized work space in all areas in the school.

· Use kind words when speaking with others in all areas of the school.

· Quietly open and close doors to avoid disrupting others.

January’s Grace & Courtesy Focal Points:

· Remove snow from boots or shoes when entering the building.

· Walk around work on rugs/mats.

· Neatly store personal items in lockers or on hooks in cubby areas.
