Slow Down and Enjoy the Holidays...’Tis the Season to be Jolly!

Many times we tend to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of the holiday season. Although shopping for that perfect gift for loved ones is a good thing, make time to reinforce academic and social skills. Plan on involving your child(ren) in making holiday cards to express appreciation for others, setting goals to learn something new over the break, helping out a neighbor or at the local mission, etc. Your family will enjoy the gift of time while reinforcing learning goals and creating new memories this season.

REQUEST #1: Gently Used Games and Craft Materials (These items are needed for daily enrichment time to support PTO- purchased materials.)

REQUEST #2: Holiday Baskets (Your donations may include canned goods, boxed foods, store or dining certificates, coupons, cooking utensils, dishes, tablecloths, kitchen towels, unopened toys for boys and girls ages 5 to 12, books in good condition, blankets, and warm socks.)

(November 2006 – May 2007) – Book Nook – On Monday mornings, students may purchase inexpensive books.

Tuesday, January 9^th – PTO/School Improvement Meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. and concludes promptly at 8:00 p.m. Your input is needed. Please plan on attending! (Pizza Meal & Free Babysitting Provided.)

Thursday, January 11^th – Vision & Hearing Rescreening

Monday, January 22^nd & Friday, February 9^th – No School

Monday, February 26^th – Mid-Winter Break

Friday, March 23^rd - No School!

Monday, March 26^th (4:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.) & Wednesday, March 28^th (12:30 p.m. – 8:30- p.m.) – Spring Parent Teacher Conferences

Half Days on Wednesday, March 28^th & Thursday, March 29^th & No School on Friday, March 30^th for K-6^th.

Monday, April 2^nd – Friday, April 6^th – Spring Break

Monday, May 28^th – No School – Memorial Day

Monday, June 13^th – Half Day & Last Day of School for Kindergarten

Tuesday, June 14^th – Last Day of School for Grades 1-6
